Selling Your Diamonds

Selling diamond jewellery? Canada Gold gives you options.

Canada Gold purchases diamonds, whether as part of a jewelry purchase or loose stones, in addition to some coloured gemstones. For diamonds under .25 carat weight, which are usually considered side stones, any of our stores can make you an offer on the spot. For diamonds above .25 carat weight, we will need to grade the diamond(s) before we can make an offer. Our Ottawa, 蒙特婁, 溫哥華, 素里, Calgary South, 埃德蒙頓西部 and 西雅圖 locations have certified GIA gemologists on staff, and all other stores can send your diamonds off to be graded, after which we can make you a no-obligation offer on your stones.

If you wish to sell us your gold, silver or platinum jewellery but prefer to keep your diamonds (perhaps to have them set in new, custom jewellery), we have jewellers in all of our stores who can remove the diamonds in your presence and return them to you.

Unlike gold and silver, there are no dedicated market prices available for diamonds. Our offers, particularly for stones above .25 carat weight, are based on the quality of the stone (cut, color, clarity and carat weight) and our selling prices for similar stones set in non-brand name jewelry as sold by our pre-loved jewellery retailer, 100Ways.com. This pricing model allows us to offer diamond sellers a very fair price that usually exceeds the offers of other diamond buyers.
